The textured steel belts provided by Berndorf Belt Technology USA are critical elements in the production of decorative and technical laminate products for flooring and laminate furniture applications. Our endless textured steel belts are produced through a state-of-the-art manufacturing process. They achieve what was previously only possible through the use of press plates: registered embossing.

All of our textured steel belts are imprinted with a negative of the desired texture. They are covered in chrome to prevent any product adhesion to the conveyor belt. Depending on our customers’ needs we can create new designs or replicate existing designs. Technical research by Berndorf has also lead to the ability to provide steel belt conveyors with a variety of gloss effects. Mirror polished surfaces for high-gloss laminates are possible. Refurbishment of the gloss effect is available to restore the desired level of gloss and extend the overall usefulness of the belt.

Our custom production methods are boosted by our in-house testing facilities, where both clients and engineers can observe how a steel belt system functions under specific production methods.
