To assist our customers in this, Berndorf Belt Technology USA offers the bernfixx® line of service tools. These tools are used by our service technicians and are available for purchase by our customers. The tools are designed to provide high-quality repairs and economic value for our customers.

Magnetic Clamping Device
Ensure perfect clamping of belt ends to avoid gaps and misalignment with continuous welding. This extremely powerful clamp can also provide welding without misalignment on slightly worn and uneven belts, adding to the overall life of the belt. -
Patching Tool 3000
Automatically and flawlessly weld patches into damaged areas of steel belts with the Patching Tool 3000. -
High Power Shot Peener
Correct the cross curvature of steel belts without interrupting the production flow using the High Power Shot Peener. -
Belt Edge Maintenance & Repair Tool
Return the steel belt as closely as possible to its original condition and prevent edge cracks using the Belt Edge Maintenance and Repair Tool. The service life of the belt is significantly increased. -
Cutting & Welding Device
Minimize the risk of cutting errors on-site with prefabricated lengths. The Cutting and Welding Device is also a simple alternative to the mechanical clamping device for the endless welding of narrow belts (300mm to max 500mm). -
Hot Bonding Device
Permanently repair damaged or worn Vee-Ropes. A variety of lengths of the Hot Bonding Device are available. -
Mechanical Clamping Device
Ensure perfect clamping of belt ends to avoid gaps and misalignment of steel conveyor belts. -
Large Repair Kit
Included in the Large Repair Kit is a complete set of tools designed for carrying out manual repairs. The service tools can also be used in conjunction with a clamping device, cutting and welding equipment, or a patching tool. -
Small Repair Kit
Included in the Small Repair Kit are all the tools necessary for carrying out simple and fast emergency repairs.
Service Tools Training
The stainless steel conveyor belts offered by Berndorf Belt Technology USA are high quality and very sophisticated products that require highly trained technicians for their repair. All technicians and engineers who carry out repairs on behalf of Berndorf are certified by us and have proven knowledge of our belt technologies.
To offer added value to our customers, we also provide training and certification in the repair and maintenance of our steel belt systems to their in-house engineers and technicians. Over the course of a week, our customers’ maintenance teams receive hands-on training from and perform skilled repairs under the supervision of Berndorf engineers. We believe our customers will immediately see the value in having their own employees able to carry out necessary maintenance of the steel conveyor belts: downtime will be minimized and product quality can be better maintained.
