Press Plates & Pads
Press plates and pads produced by Hueck- Rheinesche and offered through Berndorf Belt Technology USA are a single stack system designed to provide even pressure and heat for the wood and laminate production industries. The press pads provide a buffer between the heating element and the stainless steel press plate. Heat is evenly transferred, and the stainless steel press plate is protected. Press plates may be two sided for optimal use. The press pads are constructed of copper wire and silicone to optimize heat transfer and improve longevity.
Textured Press Plates

These textures are transferred to the plate via photo or printing technique and are then electro or chrome plated to protect against wear. The textures are engraved in different forms and various depths to meet our customers’ requirements. Press Pads
For the coating of wood based panels or the manufacturing of high pressure laminates the quality of the finished product depends on the steady pressure and temperature applied to the product’s surface. Various products, machines, and manufacturing methods determine the type of press pad best suited for the process. Therefore, various asbestos-free and elastomeric press pads possessing different materials and constructions are available. The press pads are also manufactured in different weight categories as determined by the end use.
All press plates and pads are installed and serviced by Berndorf-certified technicians who are available around the clock for routine and emergency repair services. Service tools and belt maintenance training are also offered to our customers.
