AccuDrop® Shell and pastilles

Berndorf Belt Technology USA provides feeding devices for all of our steel belt conveyor systems.  Our feeding devices for both pastilles and flakes are made in the USA of durable stainless steel.  They are easily integrated into any custom industrial automatic conveyor system and are backed by the quality assurance and knowledge of Berndorf Belt Technology USA.

AccuDrop® Feeding Device

For pastillation, we offer the AccuDrop® feeding device.  The entire system is designed and manufactured in the USA out of stainless steel.  This rotary device offers a variable speed rotation system with a fixed distribution tube to ensure that product is evenly distributed onto the steel conveyor belt.  The size of the pastilles is also fully adjustable.

The AccuDrop® is designed to handle a variety of product viscosities, but excels at distributing medium range viscosities.  Its versatility makes it applicable in a variety of industries, especially chemicals, sulphur, and food processing.  The AccuDrop® also reduces the dust created in production lines, especially those found in the chemical and sulphur industries.  Reduced dust contributes to both extended life of the conveyor belt system and the quality of the final product.  The AccuDrop® assures high production rates and consistent product quality with minimal maintenance.

As with all Berndorf Belt Technology USA parts, our engineers work with you to evaluate the design of your automated conveyor belt system. Our in-house testing facility allows us to demonstrate the ability of our belt systems and feeding devices to handle the requirements and stresses of your production line.  Contact us today to learn more.

Flaking Feeding Devices

Berndorf Belt Technology USA provides our clients with two different types of flaking units: casting boxes and squeeze rolls.  Both of these units are made in the USA out of stainless steel and distribute products onto the steel belt to the desired thickness and width.  They come with all necessary safety devices.

The casting box is a dam-type system that regulates the thickness of the product by setting the dam at the desired height above the conveyor belt.  The height of the box is fully adjustable.  Inside the box is a heating element that keeps the product liquid and at the desired temperature.  The temperature range of the heating element is fully customizable according to your needs.  The casting box is mainly used in chemical applications.

Squeeze rolls are used primarily in powder paint applications, but may be suitable for other applications.  Two stainless steel rollers are designed to be set a specific distance apart and the product is deposited in the gap, then squeezed between the rollers to cover the steel belt to the desired thickness.  The rollers are mounted just above the automatic conveyor belt surface and are fully adjustable.
