Discharging the product from the steel belt conveyor system is just as important as feeding it onto the belt. Berndorf Belt Technology USA offers discharge devices for both flaker and pastillation systems. All discharge devices are manufactured by our company in the USA out of stainless steel and are equipped with all safety devices. Each device is fully customized to meet the exacting requirements of your production process. All of our equipment is installed and serviced by Berndorf-certified technicians.

Flaker System Discharge Device

The product breaker is Berndorf Belt Technology USA’s discharge device for flaker systems. The stainless steel construction is durable, and the entire device is entirely enclosed as well as cleanable. The breaker assemblies are contained within: one for the initial coarse breaking, and another for secondary fine breaking.

The entire product breaker is customized to meet all your production requirements. In-house testing conducted by Berndorf Belt Technology USA can be performed at our facility to ensure that the product breaker adequately handles your product and process.

Pastillation System Discharge Device

For pastillation systems, the scraper blade assembly is used. The blade, made of composite material, simply scrapes the pastilles off the steel conveyor belt in a fluid motion. The tension on the scraper is fully adjustable. Both mechanical and automated tensioners are available.

Berndorf-certified technicians will visit your production facility to provide installation of the scraper blade, as well as instruction on the use and maintenance of the discharge device.
